From Midlands:
M50 > A40 to Ross on Wye, turn right on to A49 – about 30 minutes to Hereford
From South - Monmouth
A40 to Ross on Wye, turn left on to A49 – about 30 minutes to Hereford
Straight on at traffic lights, taking either lane
after ½ mile draw out into RH lane at the large roundabout with A465 from Abergavenny
Stay on A49 and take the RH lane on to Greyfriar's Bridge
At the next traffic lights turn right into St Nicholas St, immediately left into Berrington St, right into West St, and (A) right into Broad St.
The Green Dragon Hotel is on your right.
Ahead on RHS: black and white timbered Tourist Information Office
Ahead on LHS: the West end of the cathedral
Go between them on to Palace Yard. Oncoming traffic alert!
Go through Tudor arch into the courtyard of the Bishop's Palace
The front door of the house is diagonally opposite.
Go clockwise round the green for easier parking.
From West - Brecon:
Whitecross Rd, straight on at first traffic lights College of Art on LHS
At the next traffic lights (Steele's garage LHS) bend left to a large roundabout
(B) Take A49 DIR Ross etc.
After about 20 / 30 yards, avoiding Tesco Car park take the next left into West St,
and follow from A above.
From North - Shrewsbury, Ludlow
A49 to Hereford - follow from B above
From East - Worcester, Malvern, Ledbury, Newent etc
To Hereford then follow from B above
